Sports Graduate - Secondary School Location: Swindon Start Date: Immediate Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £100-£130 per day Job Overview: Academics LTD is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Graduate to join a secondary school in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while working either as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant (TA) . You will support students in both academic subjects and physical education, helping them thrive inside and outside the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Supervise students as a Cover Supervisor in the absence of the teacher, ensuring lessons are delivered effectively and on schedule Provide support as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in PE and other subjects, helping students with their learning and practical activities Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment as a Cover Supervisor Set up and assist in PE lessons, helping with equipment and practical activities as a TA Build strong relationships with students, supporting them academically and socially as either a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant (TA) Assist in delivering a variety of lessons, ensuring students engage with the content and stay on task, whether in a Cover Supervisor or TA role Ideal Candidate: Degree in sports, PE, or a related field (recent graduates welcome) Previous experience working with young people is advantageous Strong organisational and communication skills Passionate about sports and supporting students as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant (TA) Flexible and adaptable, able to cover lessons as a Cover Supervisor or assist in lessons as a TA when required What We Offer: Competitive daily pay (£100-£130) Excellent transport links to Swindon Valuable experience in a respected school as either a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant (TA) Opportunities for career progression, including teacher training If you're passionate about education and eager to support students as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant (TA) in Swindon, apply now for this exciting Sports Graduate role!
