Your new company Your new job working as an Aviation Broker will be working for an established Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers. Your new Brokers have been established for a number of years and understand the importance of being client focused. They are growing in all areas and are now an employer of choice. Due to the growth within the Aviation Division, a permanent position for an Aviation technician has arisen. Your new job Your new job working as a Aviation Broker is a brand new role where you will be responsible for providing a professional level of technical service in order to support their Aviation division as well as the Aviation MD. You will act as a point of referral for the clients where you will be placing, client servicing and producing slips. You will giving guidance and help with any technical issues, as well as investigating and resolving any accounts queries, liaising with different offices as necessary. Other duties will include, preparing MRC slips and endorsements as well as formal documentation for presentation to the market i.e. quote/firm order/certificates and other documents required by the brokers. Ensuring divisional processes and are in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements and keeping the Aviation division and Brokers aware of any complex or non-standard technical matters arising internally and externally What you will need to succeed Your previous experience working as a Broker handling Aviation business, will contribute to your success in securing this role. This is a new role and you can create grow this opportunity to make it your own. Ideally you will be CERT CII qualified or at least working towards you will have good knowledge and understanding of Aviation and familiarity with the London Market would be an advantage. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills. Your high level of accuracy and attention to detail will show your willingness to learn and proactively self-develop with proven ability to work effectively as a team player but flexible enough to work on own initiative. Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
