Qualifications: A degree in a related subject. Member of the CIHT or equivalent. Proven experience in transport planning or a related field. Strong business development and project management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow and develop the business. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Role Overview: This will be carved out by you. There are no time limits and no KPI expectations. As the brand ambassador of the Scottish Businesses, growth will inevitably take time - and patience. Some of the typical responsibilities will include: Leading and delivering a variety of projects within our growing a team. Engaging in activities from bidding through to client management and project delivery. Supporting with data analytics, feasibility studies, modelling, transport appraisal, economic assessments, and sustainable transport initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Secure and manage transport planning projects. Contribute to business development and growth strategies. Collaborate with a national team of experts to deliver high-quality projects. Provide leadership and direction to the Edinburgh office. Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Support the development of innovative transport solutions.
