Tendering Engineer\n Full Time, Permanent\n Derby / Nottingham\n £45,000 - £60,000 P.A\n\nApplications outside of the UK will not be considered\n\nIn a nutshell \n \n We are currently recruiting for a Tendering Engineer to assist our client's senior team in producing proposals for projects across various business sectors. The ideal candidate will have exposure in control systems, M&E installations, or an engineering background. A proven track record of producing technical and commercial proposals for tenders is a must.\n\nThis role will involve creating detailed tenders, cost labour requirements, developing tender programmes, and working closely with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality proposals.\n\nWhat's involved for the Tendering Engineer \n\nManaging and developing standard costing and proposal templates.\nMonitoring tender portals for opportunities and updating the CRM.\nChairing monthly sales meetings.\nProducing tenders for minor projects, including cost compilation, programme development, and proposal creation.\nAssisting directors with more complex tenders.\nMaintaining the CRM system and producing monthly/annual sales reports.\nOrganising and filing sales documentation, handling client visits, and managing sales materials.What you'll need \n\nMust have educational background within a relevant engineering discipline\nAt least 1 years of experience in a tendering role.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.\nStrong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExposure to systems engineering including SCADA, PLS or HMI (Ideal but not essential)\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment.Benefits for the Tendering Engineer \n\nSalary: £45,000 - £60,000 P.A.
