Role Overview: Littlefish is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Transition Engineer to join us in either Sheffield or Nottingham. As a transition specialist youll work on onboarding new customers, carrying out due diligence, deploying tooling and documenting client estates. You will need to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery in tight timescales. Key Responsibilities: Due Diligence:Lead the due diligence of new client estates. Early Life Support:Provide early life support to new customers. Documentation:Create and maintain documentation of key elements of client estates in knowledge management systems. Tooling Deployment:Deploy standard Littlefish tooling to new client estates. Technical Projects:Complete specific technical projects as designated by the Service Transition and Infrastructure Teams. Technical Information Service:Provide knowledgeable technical information to the internal operational teams. Training and Development:Maintain personal qualifications and skill sets, ensuring training is completed in line with business and personal needs. Essential Requirements: Direct working experience in a similar role Substantial experience of Windows server infrastructure Working with service management tooling Experience in creating KT and technical documentation Experience of transition governance Skills/Knowledge: Advantageous:Windows server OS, AD, PKI, GPO, PowerShell, Intune, SCCM, Office 365, AV platforms, switching, routing, firewall technology, MS platforms (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), Azure/Hyper-V/VMWare, standard service management tooling technologies.
