Speech and Language Therapist - West Drayton Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About Us: We are recruiting for an independent co-educational ABA. day provision for pupils between the ages of 4 and 16, providing education for pupils who have an autistic spectrum disorder and related conditions. We are currently recruiting a Band 5/6 Speech & Language Therapist to join multi-disciplinary team of professionals. Role Overview: As a Speech and Language Therapist in West Drayton, you will provide specialist assessments, diagnosis, and therapy services for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting clients to improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and intervention planning Group and individual therapy as required Working within classes and providing consultative support as part of the multi-disciplinary team Development and implementation of training for staff and other professionals Report writing and record keeping Requirements: Highly motivated, passionate, dynamic and flexible Understands the value of using an ABA methodology Wants to grow with the school and become a fully immersed member of the team Has relevant experience of working with young people with special needs, especially autism spectrum disorder Has highly developed communication and interpersonal skills Is RCSLT and HCPC registered Hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
