Base pay range I have a new exciting role available for a Senior Software Engineer, working with .NET and SQL (with depth) for a leading specialist in their industry of SaaS. This organisation operates in several European countries providing bespoke solutions with their own software product. This person should be currently living within a commutable distance to Leeds city centre, but this role is largely remote, with 1 day in the office per week. Role responsibilities: Work within a self-sufficient agile team of engineers, testers, analysts, and product experts to shape and deliver our roadmap Write clean, secure, performant code that is deployed and tested multiple times a day via your CI/CD pipeline Converting code and working on localisation projects for international clients Programming and creating schema with SQL Performing across the full development lifecycle Actively seek to share knowledge and build strong relationships within your team to aid the development and progression of your fellow engineers Work with your Lead Software Engineer to shape and improve the technical implementation of our products Writing clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation Essential skills: A broad range of knowledge using .Net and C#, on complex projects with ownership In depth SQL knowledge, of both Server and programming with MySQL Schema design, and querying data using SQL Desired skills: Cloud technologies TFVC and Git Docker Benefits: Pension contribution scheme (matched up to 5%) 24 days annual leave (in addition to statutory holidays), increasing by 1 day each year to a maximum of 28 days City centre office location (5 minutes walk from Leeds railway station) Hybrid working (as little as 4 days a month in the office) Flexible working (core hours 10:00 - 15:00) Free on-site gym Training opportunities and incentives we support professional certifications as well as access to Pluralsight and other training platforms Buy/sell annual leave policy Cycle to work scheme Discounted travel This opportunity would suit a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer, looking for progression in their tech skills and a move towards cloud solutions.
