Alongside agricultural research and consultancy, ADAS provides ecology, arboriculture, archaeology, planning, and landscape services to a diverse client base across multiple sectors. Experience required: A full driving license and flexibility regarding work type, timing, and location. Formal qualification in Town and Country Planning (Masters/Postgraduate/First Degree). Full membership or eligibility for full Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Relevant experience/skills, preferably within the private sector. Excellent knowledge of Town & Country Planning regulations and processes, including planning policy and development management. Responsibilities: Provide planning consultancy services to public, private, and third-sector clients. Manage planning projects, including leading on applications, site promotions, appeals, and managing financial aspects like invoicing and budgets. Review and comment on technical reports. Prepare planning applications, draft Planning Statements, and conduct site visits with clients and colleagues. Coordinate with technical consultants, statutory consultees, and Planning Officers. Engage in public speaking at planning committees and consultation events, as required. Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Pension contribution.
