Senior Care Assistant (Nights) Sleaford Up to £13.72 per hour I am working with a privately owned group who have a beautiful care home rated as good in the Sleaford area. The home is an old vicarage based in beautiful, landscaped gardens which the residents really enjoy. They are now looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their friendly team. You will be required to: Provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living Be responsible for promoting resident s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing and to give input during shift handovers Take responsibility for leading your shift to ensure high standards are maintained, and other members of the team feel supported Complete daily medication rounds and document consistently without errors or any issues being picked up on the medication audits, as well as ensuring the daily charts are completed to a high standard by all team members on all shifts you will be responsible for leading Promote good practice in all aspects of care, and challenge poor practise from other team member, ensure one to ones for all care and support team members are done every two months and investigate complaints and concerns as directed by the Home Manager For his post you must be able to demonstrate: A relevant professional qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Experience of administering medication and updating care plans Leadership and good time management skills The ability to work 7pm 7am on a rota basis including alternate weekends Good written and oral communication skills A full UK Driving licence and transport due to the location of the home, and live within 30 minutes of the home For more information on this role, please call Elite on 01604 879345.
