Our care homes aren’t just buildings – they are our residents' homes, and we take pride in creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment. br About the Role br We’re looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the care team, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and homely environment. You’ll support both residents and colleagues , helping to maintain a positive, respectful, and caring atmosphere. br Key Responsibilities br Deliver high-quality, person-centred care – Assist residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility support, and emotional well-being. br Lead by example – Provide guidance and support to care assistants, ensuring best practices are followed. br Administer medications – Safely manage and administer medication in line with company policies and procedures. br Support residents’ well-being – Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition, and communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare professionals. br Maintain a safe and homely environment – Assist with light cleaning tasks to ensure a comfortable, welcoming space for residents. br Record-keeping and reporting – Maintain accurate care records and communicate updates to management and healthcare professionals. br What We’re Looking For br Previous experience in a care role – A background in social care is essential. br SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). br Experience in medication administration is desirable. br Leadership skills – Ability to support and mentor care assistants. br A compassionate, patient, and professional approach. br What We Offer br A supportive, family-run environment where you’ll feel valued. br Opportunities for further training and career progression . br The chance to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives every day. br If you’re a caring and experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you. br Join the fun, join the family – apply today! br #IND1 br Job Type: Full-time br Pay: £12.73-£13.16 per hour br Benefits: br Bereavement leave br Company events br Company pension br Free flu jabs br Free parking br Gym membership br On-site parking br Referral programme br Schedule: br 12 hour shift br Day shift br Night shift br Overtime br Weekend availability br Language: br English (required) br Work Location: In person br Reference ID: RN
