About the Role We re looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the care team, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and homely environment. You ll support both residents and colleagues , helping to maintain a positive, respectful, and caring atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, person-centred care Assist residents with daily living, including personal care, mobility support, and emotional well-being. Lead by example Provide guidance and support to care assistants, ensuring best practices are followed. Administer medications Safely manage and administer medication in line with company policies and procedures. Support residents well-being Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition, and communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare professionals. Maintain a safe and homely environment Assist with light cleaning tasks to ensure a comfortable, welcoming space for residents. Record-keeping and reporting Maintain accurate care records and communicate updates to management and healthcare professionals. What We re Looking For Previous experience in a care role A background in social care is essential. SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Experience in medication administration is desirable. Leadership skills Ability to support and mentor care assistants. A compassionate, patient, and professional approach.
