Position Overview Securities Services is one of the key pillars of the Corporate Bank Institutional Clients Services franchise, providing custody, clearing and fund services solutions to financial institutions globally. You will be responsible for both identifying new opportunities with existing clients as well as originating brand-new relationships with Tier 1 Banks. You will take responsibility for business origination in the newly formed Global Custodian segment to sell sub-custody securities services footprint across Asia, Europe and the Middle East. You will report to the Head of the Global Custodian segment with a local reporting line to the Head of Securities Services Europe and the role will be based in London. We have implemented a model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for them Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme + 2 days volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Developing and leading origination efforts for Tier 1 Banks with a presence in the UK Identifying, formulating and owning specific go-to-market sales campaigns Responsibility to profitably grow Securities Services revenue across a portfolio of existing Securities Services Tier 1 Banks and secure additional Tier 1 Banks Working closely with broader Securities Services team globally, other Corporate Bank products and Deutsche Bank divisions to identify cross-sell opportunities and deliver against revenue targets Representing Securities Services within and outside Deutsche Bank Group (including client forums, conferences and road shows) Management of SalesForce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to structure sales campaigns and maintain reliable sales pipeline with a view to increasing product sales Your skills and experience Strong track-record of sales ownership and origination with global banks A proactive can-do and creative approach, with the confidence to challenge the status quo Relevant product knowledge Ability to demonstrate success in developing and executing origination strategies Experience of working with Tier 1 Financial Institutions and an extensive contact network preferable Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail, strong negotiation skills.
