Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits Location: UK, hybrid or remote About the role You will lead the medical writing team for accounts requiring multiple writers to meet content demands of medical communications initiatives, or lead multiple accounts. Responsibilities include client service and providing high-quality editorial oversight from planning to review and completion. What you'll do Deliver high-quality material through hands-on project delivery and oversight across various project types including publications and medical affairs. Guide the scientific team on daily tasks and ensure accurate, high-quality, timely execution of scientific projects. Provide scientific oversight for large or complex projects, briefing and guiding less experienced writers. Serve as the client's scientific contact, communicating scientific matters effectively to the team and other scientific leads. Build excellent client relationships through trusted project delivery. Collaborate with project management, client services, and editorial teams to ensure the scientific team's well-being and efficiency, helping prioritize workloads. About You Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences; PharmD or PhD preferred. Ideally 4+ years of medical writing experience, in agency or in-house. Strong background in scientific content development across project types. Leadership and mentoring experience with junior writers. Experience managing client relationships and serving as a key contact. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines for medical communications.
