Ref: CC46434 A manufacturer and seller of high-quality drilling and cutting tools is currently looking for a Sales Manager to join their UK team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B or B2C sales within a relevant field, and people management experience. Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: 40-50K, depending on the experience Location: Stevenage, UK (typically field-based with 1-2 days in the office per week) Sales Manager Responsibilities: Manage and lead sales team (2 field reps + 1 office rep) Set and monitor call/visit targets and conversion rates Develop sales strategies with the GM, track KPIs Train team in sales and product knowledge (with GM support) Maintain relationships with key clients; visiting 10-15 clients, twice a year Provide sales forecasts and performance reports to HQ Support lead generation with GM and marketing Attend relevant shows and represent the company externally Sales Manager Ideal Candidate: Essential 3+ years in Sales Management (team leadership, performance tracking) 5+ years in B2B/B2C sales (contractors, construction firms, distributors) 3+ years with CRM systems, Excel, or sales analytics Business development & account growth experience Desirable/Preferred Experience in industrial tools, diamond tools, or construction products Understanding of feature/benefit selling, not just price Degree in Sales, Business, or Marketing Technical knowledge of diamond tools Personality Self-motivated, proactive, professional Strong leadership and communication skills Team-oriented, adaptable, and commercially aware Problem-solving and negotiation ability All applicants for the Sales Manager must have the right to work in the country as the Company is not able to offer visa support.
