MUST HAVE LEVEL 3/4 RESIDENTIAL CHILD CARE QUALIFICATION\nThis is a residential support worker role where you will be required to sleep at the home in between shifts, please see shift pattern below:\nMain Duties and Responsibilities\n To understand and deliver the young person s Care Plan every day.\n To meet all the basic physical needs of the young person every day.\n To keep up to date accurate records for the young people in line with systems of the home.\n To carry out checks and maintain all relevant records relating to Health & Safety as directed by line manager.\n To contribute, update and read monthly all relevant plans (risk assessment, behaviour plan and placement plan) to ensure that significant behaviours are noted and recorded.\n To develop skills, knowledge and experience agreed with line manager to develop working practice and set professional goals.\n To contribute to the positive culture of the home demonstrating our core values\n To use initiative to ensure that all working hours are used effectively.\n To champion equality, diversity, and inclusion\n To work with internal and external services and professionals to ensure the continuity of care for young people.\n To ensure all domestic duties in the home are carried out daily and signed off to standard.\n To care for the fabric, equipment, and grounds of the home and to provide a homely environment.\n To actively contribute to a therapeutic homely environment, considering the young person s wishes and preferences.\n To be accountable for the homes petty cash and ensure financial systems and processes are followed correctly.\n To be accountable for all records, systems and operating procedures of the home as set by line manager\nSHIFT PATTERN: 2 on 4 off\nDay 1: 8am-11pm (sleep)\nDay 2: 8am-11pm (sleep)\nPlease note: UK driving licence is essential.
