Locations: Positions in M28 area of Manchester Position: Team Leader / Senior Residential Support Worker Shift Pattern: 2 Days On, 3 Days Off (Including Sleep-In Shifts) Salary: Team Leader £13.50ph(£28,080) plus £50 sleep in rate (£6000)/ Senior Support £12ph (£24960) plus £50 sleep in (£6000) Team Leader salary total with sleeps: £34,080 Senior salary total with sleeps: £30,960 Our client is a leading organisation dedicated to providing specialized care for children and young individuals facing Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Position Overview: As a Team Leader/ Senior Residential Support Worker for Children with EBD, you will play a pivotal role in offering tailored care and guidance to children facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Your role will involve working closely with these young individuals, providing stability, comfort, and mentorship. This position follows a unique 2 days on, 3 days off shift pattern, which includes sleep-in shifts. Key Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of each child's unique needs, challenges, and strengths. Create and maintain a structured and consistent environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional growth. Provide one-on-one and group support to children during activities and daily routines. Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and educational staff to implement personalised care plans. Assist in teaching essential life skills, coping strategies, and social interactions. Be a positive role model, offering guidance and encouragement to children. Maintain accurate records and reports regarding children's progress, incidents, and achievements. Ensure the safety, welfare, and protection of the children at all times. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young individuals with EBD is required Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young lives. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work a 2 days on, 3 days off shift pattern, including sleep-in shifts. Resilience and the ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and composed demeanour.
