Your company A global biopharmaceutical leader is looking for a high calibre scientist to join their Translational Sciences group on a 12-month contract in Slough. This department provides bioanalytical and biomarker assay support for clinical & non-clinical phases of drug development. There may be the possibility to work one day from home. Your new role Involved in developing, optimising and validating ligand binding assays / immunoassays Support progression of various stages of discovery and drug development Present your data at multidisciplinary project team meetings Understanding the underlying biological & therapeutic approaches to the programmes you are supporting Maintain laboratory equipment to high standards, remaining compliant with all applicable regulations What you'll need to succeed BSc or PhD in a Biological discipline Biomarker assay development experience 3+ years of working in a laboratory environment Hands-on experience of running ligand binding assays / immunoassays (such as Singulex, ELLA, MSD, ELISA, Gyros, Simoa/Quanterix) Examples of using transfer methods (external providers, collaborators) What you'll get in return Excellent opportunity to join a leading biopharmaceutical company and make meaningful contributions to the biomarker and bioanalytical to support clinical & non-clinical phases of drug development.
