URGENT ROLE: Research Director/Senior Research Consultant Part-Time: 2-3 days per week Day Rate: £380 - £400/DAY Outside ir35 Length: 1 Month initially One of the world's leading market research agencies is urgently hiring a Research Director/Senior Research Consultant to lead a major multi-country segmentation programme for a top-tier FMCG client . What You'll Do: lead a multi-market segmentation project , from design through to delivery. Translate complex consumer data into a clear strategic direction for brand and innovation teams. Partner closely with client stakeholders to embed segmentation into business planning and activation. Support additional brand tracking and innovation research streams as needed. What You Bring: Deep experience delivering segmentation projects across global markets . Strong understanding of analytical techniques: Cluster analysis, Factor analysis, MaxDiff, Conjoint , etc. Ability to connect data with strategy-turning insight into clear commercial action. Background in FMCG or related consumer categories. Desired Skills and Experience Key Skills & Experience Multi-Market Segmentation - Design and delivery of complex, global segmentation studies FMCG Expertise - Deep understanding of consumer behavior and brand strategy in FMCG Quantitative Research - Skilled in survey design, data analysis, and insight generation Advanced Analytics Knowledge - Cluster analysis, Factor analysis, MaxDiff, Conjoint, Regression Strategic Insight Translation - Turning data into actionable commercial recommendations Stakeholder Management - Confident working directly with senior client teams Brand Tracking - Experience running and interpreting global brand health trackers Innovation & NPD Research - Supporting new product development with consumer insight Tools & Techniques - Familiarity with SPSS, R, or similar statistical tools Agency & Client-Side Experience (a plus) - Understanding of both research delivery and business application
