Senior Financial Analyst, Real Estate Location: Oxford, UK A global leader in the life sciences sector, renowned for investing in pioneering research and technology, is seeking a Finance Analyst with experience of Real Estate or Construction to join their head office team in Oxford. This is a unique opportunity to create value and drive returns across a portfolio of large-scale real estate development projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial oversight for all projects, with a focus on budgeting, cost analysis, cash flow forecasting and reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in line with project timelines Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning Partner with project managers to provide financial insights and support performance tracking Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and cost analysis with commentary Monitor and control project costs, highlighting variances and recommending cost-saving measures Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial regulations Support audit preparation and manage interactions with auditors Drive continuous improvements in systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency Skills 3-5 years experience within the real estate or construction industry (essential) Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially astute Excellent communication skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders
