We are currently seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their passionate team and help shape young lives through learning, care, and play.
The Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be supporting children across all age groups – from babies to toddlers and preschoolers – helping them reach key developmental milestones in a safe and fun setting. You'll be involved in everything from planning engaging activities to providing emotional and physical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children’s learning and development through structured and free play activities
Provide high-quality care and ensure a safe, nurturing environment
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
Work in partnership with parents and carers, offering regular feedback and updates
Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure all children’s needs are met
Support the emotional, social, and physical development of all children
Be a positive, enthusiastic, and flexible team player
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A relevant childcare qualification – minimum Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
A nurturing, patient, and caring nature
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Start Date:
This role is available for an immediate start. If you are currently working and have a notice period, interviews can be arranged in advance, and the nursery is happy to wait for the right candidate.
