Job Title: Maths Tutor with SEN Experience Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored maths tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to engage and support students with SEN Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant qualification Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for maths Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching maths, preferably with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Strong understanding of different learning styles and how to accommodate them Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience using assistive technologies to support learning Working Conditions: Part-time hours, with flexibility to accommodate students' schedules Work may involve travel to different educational settings within the Wokingham area Collaboration with other education professionals and parents/guardians All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
