Job Title: HR Officer Location: Leeds, LS12 (with occasional travel to other sites as required) Reports to: Group HR Director Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 About YDS Group YDS Group is a dynamic and growing organisation in the dental healthcare sector, home to both Smile White and Yorkshire Dental Suite. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to support our people strategy and help foster an engaged and high-performing workforce. --- Role Overview The HR Officer will play a key role in delivering effective HR support across both Smile White and Yorkshire Dental Suite. This is a generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations and learning & development (L&D). You ll work closely with managers and team members to support a wide range of HR activities, ensuring compliance, best practice, and a people-first approach. --- Key Responsibilities Provide generalist HR administration to support to the HR Admins and the HR department ensuring efficiency and compliance in HR processes . Managing employee data, processing leaves, and handling benefits claims. Support and maintain the HRIS system, record keeping and HR Inbox Design and deliver training and development programmes in alignment with company needs and employee growth. Support the HR Director with all task requested to drive the people strategy. Assist in developing initiatives to support employee engagement, wellbeing and being the positive change agent to enhance the employee experience. Support HR reporting and analytics to track key people metrics. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. --- Requirements CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards). Proven experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a fast-paced or multi-site environment. Strong knowledge and practical HR experience in employee relations. Experience in designing and delivering learning & development programmes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
