As we continue to expand, we're looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to support our people strategy and help foster an engaged and high-performing workforce. Role Overview The HR Officer will play a key role in delivering effective HR support across both Smile White and Yorkshire Dental Suite. This is a generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations and learning & development (L&D) . You ll work closely with managers and team members to support a wide range of HR activities, ensuring compliance, best practice, and a people-first approach. Key Responsibilities Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with company policy and employment law. Lead on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management. Support the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. Design and deliver training and development programmes in alignment with company needs and employee growth. Maintain and update HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and employee records. Assist in developing initiatives to support employee engagement and wellbeing. Support HR reporting and analytics to track key people metrics. Champion a positive company culture that reflects our core values and mission. Requirements CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards). Proven experience in a similar HR role, ideally in a fast-paced or multi-site environment. Strong knowledge and practical experience in employee relations . Experience in designing and delivering learning & development programmes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
