We're delighted to be exclusively partnering with a market-leading business headquartered in Birmingham city centre to recruit a Financial Controller to join their high-performing finance team. This is a key leadership role within the organisation, offering a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and technically strong accountant to add real value to a thriving business. The Role: Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will lead the day-to-day operations of the finance function, with oversight of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and team development. Responsibilities will include: Leading and developing a small finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial operations Preparing timely monthly management accounts, including insightful commentary and analysis Managing the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads Overseeing statutory accounts, audit preparation and compliance with relevant regulations Driving improvements in processes, controls and financial systems Supporting strategic decision-making with high-quality financial insight and modelling About You: We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a proven track record in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role.
