Location: Birmingham (Hybrid - 2-3 days from home) Position: Financial Controller Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller: Lead statutory financial reporting and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Own the month-end and year-end closure process across all entities Deliver financial planning, forecasting, and high-quality commercial reporting packs Support external audit activity and ensure timely submission of statutory accounts Provide strategic insights and financial advice to senior leadership Drive automation and process improvement across AP/AR functions Lead, mentor, and develop a transactional finance team Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and contribute to executive-level decision-making Key essentials of the Financial Controller: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Strong technical background in statutory accounting and financial reporting Confident communicator This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking a visible and strategic role within a reputable and forward-thinking organisation.
