An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Court of Protection Fee Earner who has a genuine interest in Court of Protection work who is keen to join an established and thriving team. This role would be suited to a Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Senior Paralegal.\n\nThis role requires a combination of legal expertise, practical problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach to client care. You will play a key role in supporting clients through complex legal processes and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n Assisting the team with managing high-value deputyships and private trust cases, ensuring clients' best interests are always prioritised.\n Preparing and submitting various types of applications to the Court of Protection.\n Assisting in the purchase of properties and adapting them to meet the specific needs of clients, coordinating with surveyors, architects, and other specialists.\n Managing clients budgets and monitoring investments.\n\nSkills, Attributes & Experience:\n\n Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored support.\n Clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and various professionals.\n Ability to convey complex legal information in an understandable manner.\n Proven experience in managing multiple tasks efficiently and accurately, such as preparing applications, controlling budgets, and supervising tax affairs.\n High level of accuracy in preparing legal documents and applications, ensuring all details are meticulously handled.\n Practical approach to resolving issues and finding solutions for clients' needs.\n Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.\n Experience in networking and building professional relationships.\n Genuine empathy for clients, understanding their situations, and providing compassionate support.\n Ability to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism.\n Proven understanding of Court of Protection work, including statutory Wills, deputyships, and private trust work.\n While not essential, experience in a Clinical Negligence or catastrophic claims environment would be advantageous, providing valuable insights into client needs and case management.\n\nBenefits:\n\n Flexible/Hybrid working\n Bring your dog to work\n Eligible to purchase an additional five days holiday\n Social committee events\n\nShould you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.\n\nPlease Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
