Salary: £26,942 - £29,959 FTE: 1 (35 hours/week) Term: Open Contract Closing Date: 11 May2025 The Department of Social Work and Social Policy is diverse, with 4 UG programmes and 8 PGT programmes. The Department has 4 broad areas of research and knowledge and aims to create an environment which promotes internationally excellent research that has a positive impact on both practice and policy. The Department also hosts 5 centres of excellence to engage and drive forward improvements in policy and practice through partnership working. The Courses Support Administrator will provide excellent administrative support across the Department to ensure effective administration of our portfolio of courses and support the delivery of strategy by the Head of Department, the Department and Assistant Managers, the Department Management Group and key Faculty stakeholders. The postholder will manage their own workload, while collaboratively working with the wider Courses Support Team, to provide administrative support for academic staff involved in the delivery of degree programmes. The postholder will ensure the smooth running of key operational activities and on-line systems to provide an excellent student experience. The role will also provide administrative support to the Head of Department including diary management and committee support. The successful candidate will be HNC/D qualified with experience in a similar, or related, role or have significant experience in a range of steadily larger, directly relevant roles. Experience of working in a higher education institution would be desirable. Interviews will be held in the week commencing 19th May 2025.
