OUR CLIENT, a dynamic and growing accountancy firm with several offices in the UK seeks to recruit an experienced Corporate Tax Manager who will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, personalised tax services based in their Ayrshire offices. Collaborating closely with the Senior Tax Manager and Tax Partner, this position involves managing a diverse client portfolio, overseeing both advisory and compliance aspects of corporate tax. Key Responsibilities: To manage a portfolio of clients to ensure that all Corporate Tax Returns and Computations are prepared and submitted to H M Revenue & Customs by the due dates. Advising clients on their tax liabilities, together with due dates for payment and ensuring time limits for claims and elections are met. Recognising opportunities to mitigate tax liabilities and liaising with Partners and Directors to implement these opportunities with clients. Manage the WIP on client portfolio, ensuring that all fees are raised and issued to the client on completion completion of work. Meeting with prospective clients with regards to their tax affairs IDEAL PERSON: Qualified to ICAS / CTA or similar level with proven track record in Corporate Tax from another UK Accountancy firm or possibly an Inhouse CT background keen to return to Practice, strong client liaison and team working, organisational skills. Able to - Apply technical skills to provide solutions to the client via an understanding of the tax system, being aware of the due dates for the submission of the annual Tax Returns and Computations and the due dates for the payment of tax Proactive in identifying changes in the legislation and knowing how this impacts on own client base Regularly review work of colleagues for technical accuracy Maintain and develop technical knowledge through appropriate training , seeking advice where appropriate.
