Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Home Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday Friday) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum Benefits: Welcome Bonus: Signing-on bonus to welcome you aboard Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience Dual Registration Opportunities: Potential for dual registration Health Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance to support your well-being Education Support: Fully funded Level 5 Diploma in Children & Young People s Workforce qualification Career Growth: Opportunities for career advancement in a growing company Pension Scheme: Access to a pension scheme Paid Time Off: 28 days holiday plus bank holidays Additional Perks: Free parking and a casual dress code Training: Comprehensive induction and ongoing training Support: 24/7 support from senior management and RI support during inspections Referral Bonus: Refer a friend scheme with £500 initially and an additional £1500 after passing probation Responsibilities: Inspire and lead Team Leaders and RSWs, overseeing staff induction, training, performance management, duty allocation, shift management, record keeping, budgeting, petty cash, staff deployment, and daily supervision Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed regularly Collaborate with the management team to achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding Demonstrate passion, professionalism, and adaptability Deliver exceptional outcomes for children with unwavering honesty and integrity Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role within the residential care sector OR at least 2 years as a deputy manager in a role relevant to residential childcare Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Willingness to obtain a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years (if not already held) Full UK driving licence is essential Proven ability to provide consistent care and support to children, including those with challenging behaviour Flexible approach to working patterns, including covering shifts when needed About the Client: A Yorkshire-based provider of complex care for children with special needs, including learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders.
