Job Title: Biomedical Scientist (Histology) Grade: Band 6 Trust: Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Location: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford OX3 9DU Ward: Cellular Pathology Pay Rates: £22.99 per hour Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 Why might this job interest you Are you ready to take your career to the next level as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Cellular Pathology? What you can add: Ability to cut a minimum of 25 blocks per hour, experience of microtomy to include: Levels, Sentinel node protocols, Extra-large blocks & Embedding of all tissue types. Management requirements: Experience in quality control of work, Experience of day-to-day management of a small team & Experience of training junior staff. All candidates are competency assessed for microtomy skills during week one, failure to meet required standards will result in cancellation of booking.
