An Audit Senior is required to join our thriving professional services team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audits, preparing financial statements, and providing invaluable financial advice to our clients. Client Details Our client is a medium-sized organisation in the professional services sector, with a substantial presence in Southampton. They are highly respected for their expertise in the accounting and finance field, with a dedicated team that serves a diverse portfolio of clients. Description Leading and managing audits to ensure they are carried out accurately and efficiently. Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with relevant regulations and standards. Providing financial advice and insights to clients based on their business needs and objectives. Supporting junior staff members and contributing to their professional development. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry developments. Ensuring all work is compliant with the company's policies and procedures. Working closely with other team members to achieve company objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Profile A successful Audit Senior should have: A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA or ACA. Prior experience in a similar role within the professional services industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work under pressure. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Job Offer A competitive salary range of approximately £31,500 to £38,500 per annum.
