Why we're hiring: As an Agile Coach for the WPP Open Programme, you will play a pivotal role in embedding Agile principles and practices within teams across the organisation. You will work closely with leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to enable a culture of agility, foster continuous improvement, and ensure high-performing teams. This role requires deep expertise in Agile frameworks, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to inspire and coach teams toward self-organisation and operational excellence. What you'll be doing: Agile Transformation and Coaching Drive Agile adoption across teams, departments, and projects within the WPP Open Programme. Act as a mentor and coach to teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership to build Agile capabilities and foster self-governing, high-performing teams. Support the scaling of Agile practices, tailoring frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) to fit the programme's unique needs. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and retrospectives to drive collaboration, alignment, and continuous improvement. Team and Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile values, principles, and best practices. Educate and engage leadership and stakeholders on Agile principles, enabling their role in supporting Agile transformations. Help resolve impediments that block team progress, working closely with stakeholders to streamline workflows and remove barriers. Continuous Improvement and Metrics Advocate a culture of feedback and learning, driving continuous improvement in team processes and outcomes. Develop and track Agile metrics to measure team performance, program progress, and the impact of Agile adoption. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on metrics and retrospectives to optimise delivery and team efficiency. Change Management and Facilitation Advocate for Agile mindsets and cultural shifts, building a shared understanding of its benefits throughout the organisation. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate teams on Agile frameworks and improve their ability to adapt to changing demands. Support teams through organisational changes, ensuring transitions are smooth and sustainable. Desired Skills and Experience: Education: Bachelor s degree in a relevant field certifications in Agile frameworks (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, ICAgile Certified Professional) are actively preferred. Experience: 5+ years as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role, with a proven track record of driving Agile transformations in large organisations. Agile Expertise: Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.) and the ability to tailor approaches to diverse team needs. Facilitation Skills: Exceptional facilitation skills to guide teams, lead workshops, and mediate conflicts to build alignment and consensus. Leadership and Communication: Strong ability to engage, influence, and coach stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying and addressing impediments, using creativity and collaboration to develop effective solutions. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms to support transparency and collaboration.
