The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice to existing partners and the smooth running of the firm. The company is based in across the UK and has several branches across the country. Description Lead and manage the audit and accounts department, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. Provide strategic direction and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Review and approve financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Identify opportunities for business development and growth within the department. Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the practice remains compliant and competitive. Profile A successful Accounts & Audit Director should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA). Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Outstanding strategic planning abilities. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
