Reporting to: Account Director / Senior Account Director Availability: Full-Time Location: London Role Overview The Account Manager will lead client accounts within Fashion, Beauty, Jewellery, and Lifestyle, ensuring strategic, creative, and results-driven PR campaigns. This role involves client servicing, media relations, team management, and event execution, requiring strong leadership, creativity, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities Client Management & Press Relations Serve as the primary point of contact between DH-PR, press, and your assigned clients. Develop and execute strategic PR plans to secure brand features, editorial coverage, and high-impact placements across print, digital, and social platforms. Ensure consistent press visibility, identifying creative opportunities such as VIP placements, seasonal gift guides, and trend-led storytelling. Identify areas of concern with brand credits and formulate an appropriate plan of action to increase coverage and meet KIPs. Proactively build and nurture strong relationships with journalists, stylists, influencers, talent, and agents to drive strategic coverage and brand awareness. Execute and manage brand and news stories for your clients, with the support of your Account Executive for Product and your Account Director for long read features Manage client communications, including regular meetings, call scheduling, agendas (with the aid of AEs), and recaps, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear communication. Oversee sample management with support from AEs, ensuring seamless tracking and maximising editorial placements. Maintain an expert understanding of industry trends, identifying cultural moments and emerging talent relevant to clients. Media & Influencer Relations Leverage relationships with key media and influencers to secure impactful placements. Organically build connections with VIPs, talent, and agents to drive strategic exposure. Identify and recommend brand collaborations and ambassador opportunities that align with client objectives. Events & Special Projects Lead the planning and execution of events, including Fashion Weeks, product launches, and brand activations. Oversee guest lists, press attendance, influencer outreach, and post-event coverage tracking. Conceptualise VIP dressing moments, liaising with stylists, celebrities, and agents to maximize impact. Work collaboratively to create and execute brand partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. Manage client budgets, financial planning ensuring commercial success. Team & Operations Management Manage, mentor, and oversee Account Executives and placement students, ensuring professional development and goal achievement. Provide day-to-day leadership, ensuring quality control across all client work. Handle team training and recruitment for junior staff and placement students. Support logistics for global sample shipments and sample room management. Review and approve coverage reports, social media searches, and press tracking to maintain performance oversight, reporting to senior team members to ensure clear visibility across all clients. Reporting & Strategy Oversee the compilation of daily, weekly and monthly press coverage reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and impact tracking. Lead internal reporting on PR campaign success, competitor analysis, and market trends. Collaborate with the team to develop and evolve PR strategies based on performance insights. About You Minimum 4 5 years experience in PR, communications, or media relations within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or luxury sectors. Established relationships with key mid- level journalists, stylists, influencers, and talent agents. A creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong industry awareness. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines with a calm, proactive approach. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and pitches. A team player who mentors and uplifts junior staff while working collaboratively across accounts.
