p strong No Experience Necessary /strong /p br Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills. br ABOUT THIS JOB p strong THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE /strong /p p As a Combat Engineer, you'll work quickly and skillfully to help Soldiers navigate while on combat missions by constructing bridges, clearing barriers with explosives, and detecting and avoiding mines and other environmental hazards. You'll provide expertise and come up with quick and creative engineering solutions, constructing fighting positions, fixed and floating bridges, and obstacles and defense positions. /p p Skills you'll learn align with Construction & Engineering, Demolition & Explosives, Operate Heavy Equipment. In addition, you could earn 45 nationally recognized certifications! /p JOB DUTIES ul li Maintain emergency notification data /li li Maintain radio and data distribution systems /li li Perform signal support functions and technical assistance for computer systems /li li Provide technical assistance and training for local-area networks /li li Maintain equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles and power generators /li /ul REQUIREMENTS ul li 10 weeks of Basic Training /li li 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training /li li U.S. Citizen /li li 17 to 34 Years Old /li li High School Diploma or GED /li li Meet Tattoo Guidelines /li li No Major Law Violations /li li No Medical Concerns /li /ul BENEFITS p The Army offers a complete package of benefits that not only supports you and your family, but also helps you advance in your career.
