Overview of the role As our UK New Business Development and Key Account Manager, you will have extensive experience of building relationships and selling directly to retailers, distributors, wholesalers and trade accounts in the UK of fragrance/home fragrance or gifting. As well as managing our key customers, you will also be able to develop your own new business accounts so it is essential you are a natural new business developer, and be able to demonstrate your ability to meet sales goals, create solutions for client issues and act as a liaison between retailers, wholesalers and ourselves as the manufacturers. Role and responsibilities To achieve sales targets by developing our business within the home fragrance and beauty gifting sector to existing customers whilst identifying and delivering new profitable business opportunities Achieve and exceed Turnover Targets Overseeing and implementing Sales Strategy Develop business with existing partners by increasing turnover year on year, exploring new product opportunities, identifying gaps and increasing sales of ongoing ranges Conduct competitor and trend research on gift sets, looking at packaging, new colour and product trends etc Act as a liaison between factories and our customers to create gift sets to promote brand recognition and sales. Deliver New Business by developing a pipeline of opportunities to improve product distribution On boarding new business partners including brand and product set up through to order management and replenishment, ensuring all legal documents are completing including NDA, New Account Forms and Contracts where relevant Directing marketing efforts to support Distributor and Retailer activity to increase sales, coordinating with internal departments Evaluate and analyse sales to support in identifying opportunities or challenges Forecasting to support Buying Strategy and resource requirements Share market information and research, collecting customer feedback and communicating to relevant departments in the Business Develop in-depth knowledge of all brands and product offerings to identify profitable business opportunities Provide feedback on product/category opportunities and ways to improve business processes to achieve increased turnover Build and maintain excellent relationships internally within key areas of the business Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills Skills and Experience Required Essentially you will have current/very recent experience from the fragrance/home fragrance or gifting sector Demonstrable experience in achieving sales targets, maximising opportunities within existing business and developing new business within the wholesale, retail and distributor market place New business development experience alongside key account management skills Able and willing to travel throughout the UK Excellent basic salary plus commission, and first class benefits package ABOUT US QUEST is an industry leader in beauty and personal care products selling to over 90 countries across the globe, an award winner which includes The Queens Award for Enterprise.
