Trainee Marketing AssistantLocation: Southend-on-Sea, Essex (Office Based) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm Benefits: As a Marketing Assistant, you will learn new skills from an experienced Marketing Team to support and execute the company s marketing strategy. Your role will provide you with valuable exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to: Contributing towards the overall creative process, from brief to delivery Spearheading our events calendar confidently, taking the lead on the preparation and execution of the set up and marketing materials for each event we host/attend Assisting with the company s internal and external documentation rebrand Assisting with the preparation of the company s monthly newsletter to 27,000+ subscribers, developing interesting article ideas and supplying copy Creating content for, as well as managing and monitoring the company s social media accounts Video editing informative company videos for internal and external purposes Continual quality control of the company s websites Preparing and organising weekly marketing mailers Developing fresh ideas for the company s marketing strategy Supporting other departments with their marketing enquiries Adhering to the company s brand guidelines Weekly reporting on the company s current marketing campaigns Travel to other offices (infrequent, but necessary as required) Other ad-hoc administrative duties, as required Essentials for the RoleCrucially, the successful candidate will be creative, exude confidence and have the ability to learn new skills and software quickly to further their marketing career. You will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You will possess meticulous attention to detail, and a strong focus on both developing and protecting the brand.
