Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse Location: Bromley BR1 Salary: £13.40 per hour Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time. Opening Times: Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm We are seeking a dedicated individual who is looking to start their career in dental nursing and join our team as a full-time Trainee Dental Nurse. Conveniently located in Bromley, near King's Meadow Park and Sundridge Park, our practice is easily accessible. We offer ample parking spaces, including disabled spaces, and are just a short walk from the New Street Hill bus stop, with Sundridge Park Station located less than a mile away. Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding their dental health. Provide direct patient care by preparing patients for treatment, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the visit. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using IT systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Manage the sterilisation of dental instruments and maintain cleanliness in treatment areas. Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. Experience: Enrolled on the NEBDN Dental Course or planning to register. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
