Summary: We are currently seeking a Technician/Senior Technician to join our Highways and Infrastructure Design Team in Manchester (although location is flexible, offices located in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Cumbria with hybrid working arrangements). Responsibilities: We require an individual with experience in highways/transportation & infrastructure design projects. Experience in the use of AutoCAD is essential, with experience in use of Civil 3d/Site 3d/PDS and Micro-Drainage welcomed. You will contribute to a wide range of project types, expected input to include: Contributing to the successful delivery of highways/infrastructure projects Preparing detailed highway design drawings using CAD software Developing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates Supporting the planning and design phases of local highway schemes Providing technical advice and solutions as part of a project team About You: Minimum HNC qualification in civil engineering Self-motivated and enthusiastic Proficiency in AutoCAD software with experience in highway or transportation design, experience with drainage design will be beneficial Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to highway design on the local road network Have good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, a collaborative approach and a proven ability to deliver work on time. Team player displaying enthusiasm, flexibility, and versatility. Have a desire to build uponyour existing experience,continuing your professional development with Tetra Tech.
