Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a fantastic Technical Engineer opportunity, with a well established manufacturing business based in Matlock.This is a great role for someone with a strong background and understanding of metallurgical and mechanical testing, who enjoys coordinating systems and processes and working with clients to support their technical needs.As the Technical Engineer you will: Conduct contract review of incoming orders, and interact with customers to ensure that gaps are communicated and correctly understood. Act as departmental reviewer of new and amended customer and regulatory specifications in QMS. Develop and maintain testing specifications on ERP system as requested by customers. Provide service to Testing Technical teams in quality applications, tools and systems relevant to their testing needs. Manage problem reports and coordinate subsequent corrective action requests. Use of non-conformance database to analyse trends and contribute to implementation of continuous improvement strategies. Assist Senior Quality Engineer in investigating and resolving external non-conformances. Support the maintenance and/or establishment of the necessary quality management systems. Undertake other quality duties within the activities of the Test House. Support Laboratory staff at all levels with queries regarding test specifications and procedures. Work closely with the test house production teams to improve lines of communication, giving clarity on current priorities. Provide support to Machining, Metallurgical and Mechanical testing areas to assist in increased throughput, specific roles to be identified via skills matrix.
