With a deep commitment to sustainability and climate resilience, they foster a collaborative, forward-thinking culture and heavily invest in staff development and wellbeing.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead the Environmental Assessment discipline, providing strategic and technical direction\nDrive business development through client networking, sector expansion and bid preparation\nCollaborate across teams and offices to deliver high-quality outcomes for complex projects\nMaintain excellence in EIA, SA and SEA services, ensuring delivery to the highest technical standards\nManage and mentor staff, encouraging knowledge sharing and innovation\nCoordinate environmental assessments and consents for statutory and non-statutory projects\nMaintain IEMA EIA Quality Mark accreditation\nEnsure compliance with quality, H&S, and budgetary requirements\nSupport and influence planning policy at a strategic level \n\nWhat Our Client is Looking For:\n\nA proactive, client-focused individual with a collaborative and creative approach\nExtensive experience in delivering and leading EIA, SA, SEA, and related projects\nProven track record in business development and team leadership\nExcellent understanding of environmental legislation and planning frameworks\nStrong commercial awareness and project management skills\nChartered status (CEnv or equivalent) preferred - support will be given to candidates pursuing accreditation\nWillingness to travel and engage across multiple UK office locationsDesirable:\n\nExperience with NSIPs and DCO submissions\nKnowledge of additional permits/consents (e.g. ecological, FRAP, waste)\nExperience in coastal, river or energy sector projects\nInnovative mindset for environmental assessment and design \n\nWhat Our Client Offers:\n\nFlexible hybrid working options\nCompetitive salary with generous benefits\nEmployee-owned profit-sharing scheme\nDedicated training and professional development budget\nComprehensive wellbeing and health support programmes\nElectric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme (UK)\nVibrant workplace culture with social and community initiatives \n\nEligibility:\n\nOpen to candidates across the UK.
