Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Stockport, SK8 Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break) Pay Rate: £13.69 to £15.83 per hour Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to go permanent) Reeson Education is seeking a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and vibrant primary school in the SK8 area of Stockport. This full-time Teaching Assistant role starts ASAP and is ideal for someone who is ready to make a lasting impact in the classroom. As a Teaching Assistant , you'll work closely with class teachers and the wider school team to support pupils across various subjects and activities. The school is warm, inclusive, and has a strong focus on nurturing pupil progress and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant: Support children in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant , both 1:1 and in small groups. Assist with classroom tasks, planning, and activities. Help pupils engage in lessons and maintain focus. Foster positive relationships with children and staff. Adapt to the needs of individual learners with patience and encouragement. The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will: Be a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistant . Have experience working with primary-aged children. Be confident supporting children with additional needs. Work well as part of a collaborative team. Be passionate about making a difference in education. Teaching Assistant Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply). Right to work in the UK. Recent references.
