Long-term Science Teacher role ! Teacher of Science Leicestershire Start date: 29th April 2025 End date: 11th July 2025 Full-time and long-term position Teaching Science at KS3 & KS4 Hays are working in partnership with an 11-16 Secondary School in Leicestershire. The school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher. This is a part-time role from after Easter 2025 to the end of the academic year. For this role, you will be experienced in teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and 4, including at GCSE. Due to this being a long-term contract, full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking will be required. Job Description Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback. Contributing to the development of the department s curriculum. Participating in extracurricular activities such as Science/STEM clubs and school trips. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply. Bachelor's degree in Science or related field Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
