We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to undertake and promote the effective assessment of Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children including those in Age Assessment/Dispute. This should also encompass care planning, intervention and review for UASC cases including children in need of being children looked after and/or protection, including circumstances where it is necessary for the local authority to initiate legal proceedings to safeguard children and to further consider their immigration status. You will bring experience of managing a caseload of ranging complexity and problems, and competing demands. You will have knowledge of legislation, case law in relation to UASC/age assessments and its application.\n\nRequirement\n\nMust have Enhanced DBs (Child and Adult)\n\nHCPC Registration\n\nRight to Represent\n\nSocial Work England (SWE) Registration\n\nRight to Work\n\nLocation: Cardiff\n\nHours per week: 37 (Mon to fri 9am to 5pm)\n\nIf interested, please submit CV and call Varsha at (phone number removed) between 9am to 5pm for more details
