Site Engineer – Highways & Infrastructure – Swindon
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
Rate: £300 – £350 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: 2 Years

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to support a major Highways and Infrastructure scheme based in Swindon. This long-term project offers stability and the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile development over the next two years.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out for highways, drainage, and earthworks
Coordinating with subcontractors and site management to ensure efficient delivery
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and health & safety requirements
Keeping accurate records including as-builts, QA documentation, and progress reports
Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager with engineering input and technical queries
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects
Strong setting out skills using GPS, total station, and AutoCAD
Familiar with CDM regulations and site safety standards
CSCS card (essential)
SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
