Structural Engineer - At or near Chartered Permanent £50,000- £60,000 Blackburn Able to offer a secure forward order book with more projects already secured this 32 strong medium sized structural consultancy based in the Blackburn area are seeking a project running structural engineer to join their team. They are able to offer a strong basic salary with a good benefits package and an order book that extends 24 months from now and is expected to get stronger. You will have the opportunity to manage projects such as new build RC frame structures (Mixed use/residential) and deep seated basement refurbishments (residential/data centres) along with numerous cut and carve style projects. With construction values from £4m to £70m variety is assured along with professional development. You will be leading a small team (1 graduate engineer, 1 revit technician) initially and will be liaising with the clients and architects on the projects to ensure accurate and efficient delivery. As well as the team leading you will be required to take a hands on approach to the design and analysis of the structures utilising a range of softwares. To be considered you will have been working with a medium sized consultancy on similar projects in a project leading role. Whilst chartered status is preferred due to excellent ongoing CPD support they are able to consider engineers who are very close to achieving chartered status.
