Job Description
Job title: Senior Structural Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to contract
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £50-£70 Umbrella
Location: Devonport
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or HNC/HND in relevant discipline
- Experience in structural/civil engineering
- Subcontractor management experience
- Seismic design experience
- Ability to gain security clearance
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartership or working towards it
Role information:
- Provide subject matter expert advice for structural engineering based matters
- Provide technical guidance and review of structural design packages and integration of structural designs
- Ensure designs are to scope and meet standards, schedule and budget requirements
- Ensure the effective operation of quality management arrangements
- Ensure records are appropriately documented and managed
- Ensure health and safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
