On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and experiences Senior Site Engineer to join an established team in Inveraray, working on a substation and overhead powerline project. Position Details \n Role: Senior Site Engineer Location: Fort William, Scotland Project Focus: Substation and overhead powerline construction \n Key Responsibilities \n Site Preparation and Execution: \n Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling. Establish accurate reference points for infrastructure and structural works. \n Technical Guidance and Compliance: \n Interpret engineering documentation for compliance and guide project execution. Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues. \n Coordination and Support: \n Collaborate with the site manager and team for material forecasting and subcontractor management. Provide on-site technical support and resolve challenges. \n Monitoring and Documentation: \n Inspect construction activities for adherence to quality and design standards. Maintain detailed site records, including as-built drawings and progress reports. \n Safety and Planning: \n Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. \n\n Required Qualifications and Skills \n Education: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: Proven site engineering background, particularly working on substation projects. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in surveying equipment, CAD, and engineering software. Core Skills: \n Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
