This forward-thinking organisation designs and develops groundbreaking medical devices to monitor and improve the understanding and management of women s health conditions. We are recruiting for a Senior Product Design Engineer who will also act as Head of Design. In this role, you will shape the creative vision and design strategy by overseeing the end-to-end design process from concept to production. As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centred, innovative, and compliant products that enhance patient care. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the design strategy and creative vision for innovative women s health products as a Senior Product Design Engineer. Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring solutions are user-centred and compliant with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to refine designs and drive product improvements. Oversee project timelines and manage documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards. Mentor and manage the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Candidate Profile: Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in product design and development within the medical device industry with a strong portfolio of user-centred solutions. Strong project management abilities with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Advanced proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools). Sound understanding of quality system standards, regulations, and risk mitigation in medical device development.
