The Opportunity We are now recruiting a Senior Process Safety Engineer, reporting to the MD of pxEngineering, to be based at either our Stockton or Saltend Office. The Senior Process Safety Engineer will support the demonstration of legislative compliance on FEED and EPC projects within px Engineering. The Senior Process Safety Engineer will be up to date with applicable British and International standards and best practices for process safety engineering. They will be able to interface with other disciplines within a project office environment and be responsible for the development of technical safety work scopes. Minimum Requirements A Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Engineering experience in the process industry (Oil & Gas and/or Chemical). Experience of undertaking safety evaluation and hazard analysis. Experience of consequence modelling using DNVGL PHAST. Knowledge of Hazardous Area Assessment to EI Part 15, BS EN 60079 part 10 & IGEM/SR/25. Ability to produce engineering documents to a high standard including proposals, terms of reference, HAZOP reports, LOPA reports, and safety assessment reports.
